How do I join the Woodbridge Horse Show Society?
Membership costs £12.50 a year. To join please email email@example.com for the attention of Sharon Grindey.
What does membership entitle me to?
Admission to the Showground for one car and the occupants
Reduced entry fees – £2 per entry
When is the schedule available?
Can I enter online?
Unfortunately we are unable to take online entries. Please post all Entry Forms, along with cheques made payable to Woodbridge Horse Show Society Ltd, to the Entries Secretary at Framlingham Hall, Framlingham, Suffolk, IP13 9JN
Can I get my number in advance?
Yes – you will need to include a SAE when you post us your Entry Form.
Can I enter on the day?
As long as there is room in the class you can enter on the day. Any changes to classes or classes that are full will be published on our website. However all entries received after the date stated on the Entry Form may be subject to a £2 late entry fee. There are no late entries for Suffolk Horses.
What time is my class and how many entries are there?
Both the schedule and the programme will have approximate class running times. However because entries are taken on the day it is impossible to say exactly when your class will start or how many entries there are. Times for dressage tests will be published on the website the weekend before the show.
What happens if my classes clash?
If your classes clash please every effort will be made to accommodate you – please advise the Judge or Steward as soon as possible.
How much is it to get in?
Entrance for the general public is £5 per person.
Can I bring children or dogs?
Both children and dogs are welcome at the Woodbridge Horse Show. Entry for children under the age of 13 is FREE. Dogs should remain on a lead at all times but are welcome to take part in Dog Agility classes run by Paws of Parham.
Where can I park?
There is lots of FREE general public car parking on the showground. Members of the Woodbridge Horse Show Society are able, space permitting, to park at ringside. Cars accompanying lorries may park in the Lorry Park at their own risk, at a cost of £10 per car, payable at the gate.
Will the ground be watered before the show?
No – the showground is maintained by the Suffolk Agricultural Association and as such the Woodbridge Horse Show Society has no control over whether the ground is watered.
What happens if I win a cup?
All cup winners are required to enter the Grand Parade (please see schedule for ring and time) – failure to do so will result in forfeiture of cup. You will also be required to sign an undertaking to return the cup on or before the day of the next show. Please speak to the Cups Steward in the Secretaries Tent for more information.
