Woodbridge Horse Show President 2016

The Woodbridge Horse Show is proud to introduce our President for 2016 – Mrs Lisa Kerr.

‘Although I’m not from a horsey background as such, my family were very involved in the racing industry and I now breed flat racehorses. I also look after client’s horses and breeding stock interests at home.

I’ve ridden since a young girl and I really enjoy hunting especially now I can take my two daughters with me, Cate (6years) and Agnes (4years) who appear to enjoy it as much as I do. In the past I have show-jumped and more recently become interested in Showing. I show my trusted Hunter, Woody, in the Heavyweight Hunter classes.

But I get the most enjoyment now out of watching my two girls showing. This culminated in last year my eldest daughter winning the Horse of the Year Show in the Lead Rein Show Hunter Pony which was just thrilling.

I’m really looking forward to being President of the Woodbridge Show this year and I was really honoured to be asked. Good luck to all the competitors this year and let’s hope for good weather!’

Light Horse entries closing date

Don’t forget the closing date for the 2016 Woodbridge Horse Show Light Horse entries is 15th April. Any entries received after this date may be subject to a Late Entry Fee of £2. The schedule and entry forms can be found here.
